Book a vacation package the way it actually suits you
Ask a travel agency for a beach week and you will be asked your budget and your dates. You will not usually be asked how far you can walk before your knee complains, or whether a stone staircase without a rail is a problem, or how you do at altitude.
Those are the questions that decide whether a trip works. A vacation package can be the right price, the right month and the right country, and still be wrong because it asks for six hours a day on rock and you wanted four.
So everything this agency books is filed by demand. Four bands. Every trip page states the walking on an average day, the longest stretch without a place to sit, the ground under your feet, the climbing, the altitude, the heat, the number of times you move, and the one honest line about who the trip is not for.
- GentleThe walking is optional and short. Even ground, or an alternative where it is not. Nobody is asked to climb anything they did not choose.3 trips
- SteadyA few miles across a whole day, spread out, with somewhere to sit at the end of each stretch. Some uneven ground. Nothing sustained.3 trips
- ActiveReal walking days and several of them, with sustained ascent, uneven surfaces and weather that can end a day early. Fitness starts to matter.3 trips
- DemandingHeat, altitude, consecutive long days, or all three. No shortened version keeps the point, and each page says who the trip is not for.3 trips
Looking up a flight yourself
Every package here is sorted by what it asks of you. A seat asks nothing: it leaves when the timetable says, whatever anyone decides. So it is the one thing on this counter you can price standing up, and the box below is for exactly that. A booking company runs it, not this office, from a subdomain of this address, and the button puts you in front of them. The seat is reserved with them and paid to them, under conditions they wrote. Nothing here is kept aside for whoever telephones, and no number reaches us that does not reach you. Buy, and they may hand this counter a slice of what they were earning anyway.
You will not find an airline figure anywhere in these pages. Those change hourly at the far end, so printing one would only be a way of being wrong in public. What this lookup does covers the instruction your browser builds, the cases it refuses to build at all, and why it will not reach past eleven months.

What booking through this agency includes
- A written proposal with the operator named, the exact dates and the full per person figure
- Every night listed on the trip page, in the grade named there, held while you decide
- The legs the trip page lists: boats, trains, coaches, internal flights, the car where there is one
- Guiding with the hours stated, because a half day means different things to different operators
- The small print read for you, including the cancellation terms that come attached
- Somebody on it until you fly, including the reconfirmation nobody remembers to do

What this agency does, and what it charges you for it
- The work
- Reading the small print on somebody else's contract, checking whether a hotel described as being in a town is actually in it, and telling you when the itinerary you have asked for will not survive contact with the ground
- What it costs you
- Not a cent. No band and no trip on this site carries a charge of ours
- Where the income comes from
- A share of the operator's own margin, paid to us after you have traveled
- Who takes your money
- Each operator in turn, directly, and their names appear on your statement
- What this office holds
- None of it. No page here has a field for a card number

The Sun Traveller sells nothing that it operates. The flights, the hotels, the ships, the vehicles and the guides described on this site all belong to other companies. This office finds them, checks them, books them and stays with you until you fly, and it owns no part of any of them.
