How to Book a Vacation Package Through This Agency

The six steps

1. You tell us the shape

   Month, rough budget, how many of you, and how much walking you want in a day. That last one is the question most agencies skip and it is the one this catalog is built around

2. We ask the awkward questions

   Knees, heat, altitude, stairs, whether anybody in the party is quietly worried about keeping up. Better now than on day four

3. We go and ask

   We put the request to the operators who run the kind of trip you want. This is the slow step and it usually takes two to four working days, because the operators keep ordinary hours even though this counter does not

4. You get a written proposal

   Named operator, exact dates, what is included, what is not, the full per person figure, and the cancellation terms that come with it

5. You book with the operator

   The payment goes to them, not to us. They issue the documents and the receipt

6. We stay on it until you fly

   Changes, questions, and the reconfirmation nobody remembers to do

What each step costs you

Nothing. There is no consultation fee, no research fee, no booking fee and no service charge from this office at any step, including the ones where you decide not to travel.

If you take the proposal

The operator pays this office a share of its own margin after you have traveled

If you do not

Nothing happens. There is no invoice and no obligation, and we do not chase

If you take it and then cancel

The operator's terms decide what you get back. Our share disappears, which is our problem and not yours

What we cannot do

Hold a price

Only the operator can, and only for as long as they say

Beat a figure you found elsewhere

Promise a reply outside our hours

We answer during the hours printed on this site and not at three in the morning
